Vin shows us the boozer
The Acacia Strain’s van may not be able to go the distance, folks.
For the dense, that means the remainder of the dates on the band’s current trek could be in doubt.
Last night in Connecticut, an alleged drunk driver crashed his car into the band’s van outside the Webster Theatre in Hartford.
From the looks of the picture posted by frontman Vince Bennett, police have the drunkard in custody.
I lived in Hartford for a spell, working as an investigative reporter. The mayor of the town used to drive drunk. I’d catch him blowing lights in his car or strutting out of bars all the time.
The fact that this happened in Hartford surprises me not.
Bennett reports the van’s axle is “fucked,” so I’m not sure the boys are going to make it into Canada, given tomorrow’s Thanksgiving and mechanics usually drag ass.
By the way, the Acacia Strain aren’t good.
